Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3. Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to cover medical bills. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase QuickPay, PayPal, or cash. We had a lovely person reach out to us & ask could we please help Peanut & his siblings. At first we did not know how many babies there were but it turned out to be a total of 10 babies who needed help. Yes that's right, 10. Peanut (Clyde) is your typical goofy puppy who plays all day with his foster brother & previously with his siblings, eats, plays some more, poops then takes a nap & is back at it again. In his foster home in CA he did amazing with the cat & could less about it. Peanut does of course love to eat & he is going to grow into such a big beautiful chap & he is already on his way there so this should be kept in mind when applying for Peanut. Peanut loves toys & loves his foster mum & dad & playing & running with his foster brother. When applying for this beautiful boy please keep in mind he will need to be taught his puppy manners but he is more goofy than anything else & oh my so very lovable & wants you to give him love & kisses & hugs. It's mandatory he go to a home with another playful dog or dogs in the home. Peanut would do best in a home where he is with his family all day, if he could go to work with them that would be great or if he is going to be at home another dog must be present in her forever home. Peanut (Clyde) is roughly 29.5 lbs, 4 months old, possibly a coonhound mix, male, neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots, tested for heart worm & is negative, dewormed 3 times & had flea treatments. Peanut has been around cats since being in the rescue & did great but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children. As with all of our rescues & Peanuts friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Peanut potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. Our dogs are looking for their right forever homes now. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Peanut (Clyde) & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Peanut who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little angel. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Peanut (Clyde) has adoption fee of $785
