two female red-eared sliders, classroom pets. I am leaving the state and taking them with me is not an option. They are in a 55 gallon tank with a dock, a crawl up 'penthouse' on top, a log to hid under, a 40/60 gallon filter, and a 20-gallon filter. If you don't have a habitat you can buy this one. They are used to eating live and dead fish. They entertain my students, and myself, a great deal with their personalities. Their shell is about the size of a woman's hand.
