About Buddy

Meet Buddy! Buddy is 8 years young, roughly 17 pounds, and is thought to be a Jack Russell/Papillion mix. Buddy is currently looking for another forever home. His owner, my grandpa, had to be hospitalized and is no longer able to care for Buddy. Buddy would do best as an only pet, but he has never shown any aggression towards other dogs, cats, or humans. His favorite pastimes include watching the world go by out the front door, napping in the lap of his human, and roughhousing with his dog brother. His dislikes include crates and car rides. He doesn't seem to mind thunderstorms or fireworks. Buddy has not had an easy life. He was adopted out of a shelter by my grandpa about two years ago. He was suffering from a flea allergy and a severe skin infection. The wonderful folks at Bargersville Veterinary Hospital got his infection cleared up, but he still has a cute bald spot on his back. He still has sensitive skin and requires medicated baths a few times a month. He is so small that I stick him in the kitchen sink to bathe him�'�| super easy! He has also developed high blood pressure over the last few months which he is undergoing treatment for.
