About Kermit

Urgent!!! Foster or adopter needed for this sweet boy to be able to live. '10/28 Update: Kermit has gotten so much better with handling and is really coming into his own. He loves playing fetch and will drop the ball he has in exchange for another throw. We are working on sitting and he's taking his treats nicely. Kermit loved romping around the yard today. When you call him he comes right over to you. Kermit the Dog! This little skinny guy isn't even a year old and he was found as a stray with a heavy chain padlocked around his neck. I cannot. I just can't. I don't get it. But Kermit said that's his past and he's ready to move forward, even if I'm not. And that's the amazing thing about dogs, the moving on. Kermit loves to cuddle, leans in for hugs and takes treats nicely. He walks with his tail tucked, but that will change when he realizes no one is going to hurt him ever again. Kermit is also extremely hand shy and will duck with sudden movements ��%BD��%BD��%BDz. I spent some quality time showing him that there are a lot of good people out there who will treat him with love and only use their hands to pet him. Kermit needs a rescue to show him what kindness and love are - and they don't involve a heavy chain and a padlock. '
