About Emmy

This Adorable little Cutie Girl is EMMY She is a Lab Hound Mix Emmy is just 5 Months old , She is loving and playful and so pretty She most likely will not go over 45lbs She has a beautiful Fawn coat. Emmy is enjoying life at our base with several other dogs. She has confidence around our big dogs She will run in the yard with her siblings and the other much larger dogs. Emmy came to us at 9 weeks old along with her 3 other siblings and her mommy, The pups did not have a good start they were found dumped on the roadside in a cardboard box Mommy was sitting next to them. Luckily a person picked them up and transported them to our vet who reached out to us to help as our local shelter was on lock down due to upper respiratory, We brought 4 little scared puppies into our base They wandered out into our big yard tails curled under, We are a breed specific Weimaraner rescue so all our dogs are large Within 24 hours Emmy and her siblings were enjoying the yard and mingling with the big Weims now Emmy will climb on them, Play chase with her siblings She loves the kiddie pool and just running around the yard. We work high on socialization so we have not crated any of the pups they happily sleep on a large bed, Emmy is the last of her siblings she is getting larger and stronger she is very happy here. Emmy was the largest out of the 4 she is so cuddly It is now time for us to find little Emmy a wonderful forever home. So what are we looking for in Emmy's new home, We are looking for a family that has time to spend with her someone that is home most of day and will nurture her and not crate her all day a family with patience to teach her leash walking and some manners and all the good things that come with a owning a puppy, A family that is willing to make a long commitment to her to give her the love and security she needs and not someone that just wants a puppy for its younger years or a puppy for their child A family that is fully on board and can provide security and the finances that she may need in later years in case she needs any medical attention. We are looking for a family that has a fenced in yard for her to run and play No apartments Condos or rental properties NO EXCEPTIONS. She would be fine with another dog to play with a male would be good she loves to play with Milo here Or she would be good as an only dog with plenty of human interaction, We would prefer a family that dosent crate for long hours We have never crated her they are free to roam and play here. Emmy loves to come up on the sofa for cuddles and belly runs. Emmy will bring great joy to the right family but it is wise to remember she is still a baby and it is a long commitment both physically and financially There is no doubt in my mind that Emmy will make a wonderful little girl with the right family and interaction where she is a member of the family and not just a dog that is kept outside Emmy is up to date on vaccinations Emmy has her spay and microchip appointment on the 31st.
