About Miles

Meet our gentle soul, Miles! Hi there, it's nice to meet you. My name's Miles! I'm a sweet 2-year-old, neutered male American Pitbull Terrier mix, weighing at 44 lbs. I have had a long, hard journey from the Ensenada shelter I came from in mid-September and was in the roughest shape of the bunch. If you take a look at my before and after pictures on Instagram, you would agree that I should be in a treat and nutrition commercial! My foster parents say I'm handsome enough to be a model (they are too kind!). I am picking up bathroom training rapidly and walking well on a harness albeit with minor distractions. I must admit new spaces sometimes lead to accidents, but I am working hard to resolve that! My foster hoomans say that they have never met anyone quite like me with such an incredibly gentle soul who just wants to love! I am so friendly, I promise! I crave one-one attention, cuddles, and love of any kind. Recently, I've started to show interest in chasing balls and play. I can't help it, they didn't allow that where I came from, now I'm finally able to be a dog! Also, I get super excited about food and in a cute wiggly manner. I have never shown any food or treat aggression! While I am treat motivated, I take it from your hand very politely and will simply lick them when you don't let them go from your fingers. Even if you take my bowl away, I will just stare at you. I have mastered 'sit, 'stay,' and 'lay down' and it's all thanks to my treat motivation. Some of my favorite activities are car rides and walks (it's really the simple things in life that make me so happy!). I am great with little hoomans and other dogs, but I would most likely prefer to be the only dog in the household, so I can soak up all the affection! I will need workouts outside of a dog park. I hope to meet you soon! I'm just a super sweet and smart doggo, who will make a great companion for a single person or family. Tricks for treats will be great for me to learn and grow. I will show utmost loyalty and so much love with all my kisses! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
