Meet Puss Puss �%9D%A4��%8F We have come to the realization she needs a new person. This is extremely hard for us, but we want the absolute best for her. She is not adjusting well to our baby, is getting more aggressive towards our other cats & will be forced to face an overseas move in 5 months - which we feel will be difficult for her at her age. So, for her, we feel this is best. We will be a little picky about her new home. Her new family must meet the criteria to be considered: 1. Must be the only pet, she needs her person to be hers alone. 2. New family must consist of only 1-2 adults. No kids. There is now no bending on this rule. No kids is required. 3. Must be willing to give up your lap and hands to pet her when she wants. 4. A window in your home that she can sun bathe in or that allows sun in the room, where she can lay. She will come with a cat bed and cat tree, so that wil help. 5. Someone who will be staying on island or in WA state for a very long time. Moving is too much for her. 6. She will be an indoor kitty only. Does not like being outdoors. Has always been an indoor-only cat. A few things to know about her: 1. She will hiss for a few days, maybe even a week, until she is used to you and her new home. 2. She is 16 years old, and she is very sensitive to her back, hind legs and belly. She does NOT like to be pet or touched there too much, if at all. She will bite at you if you violate these areas. She needs to keep your loving hands on her head, face, neck. 3. She loves chin scratches, head scratches, & will lay in your lap forever if you let her. 4. She loves the sunshine & windows. 5. She will come with all you need - her favorite bed, a carrier, a cat tree, toys, some food, & bowls. 6. Her last vet visit showed she was healthy, no arthritis, but still a little sensitive in the areas mentioned above, which comes with her age. 7. She is spayed & all four paws are declawed (done before I adopted her). Vaccines are due - however last year her vet didn't recommend them at her age and due to being strictly indoor. You and your vet may choose differently, that is your call.
