About Sookie

*****This is an outside adoption, this dog is not in our rescue, we are assisting a family find a home for Sookie. She is located in the Danville area. **************** Sookie is a purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog, she is about a year old. Sookie was the last of a little from a breeder and was about to be taken to the shelter when this family stepped in and took her into their home. She is a happy, playful and extremely active dog that needs a family that will be equally so and would have experience with catahoula's or other active breeds. Sookie is going to need some continued training and guidance, she can be a handful as most catahoula's can be. But, they are a very intelligent breed and will learn quickly. Sookie would be a great jogging partner or perfect for the person that would like an active dog to share their lifestyle. She is stunning! Her adoption fee is $250.
