HI I'm Condor URGENT!!! Dog friend. Very scared in shelter! Needs out! My story is very very sad. I am set for euthanasia Monday Oct 28th, 6 p.m. I am suffering badly in my kennel and it is not humane for the shelter to keep me here as I am mentally getting worse each day. Please read more about me..... You see, there is a clinical condition in the shelter that is called 'kennel deterioration'. I am trembling, shaking and fearful in my kennel. I am seen huddled in the corner often . I don't look up anymore. Regularly I sit in the corner, facing the corner of my concrete kennel and duck my head. I have lost my appetite and don't drink much water anymore. Mentally I am breaking down and I must get out of here to decompress and be normal dog again. I need a really patient understanding adopter to help me be a more confident happy dog again. I came here in August so I have been in this small kennel for 3 months and have got worse. Staff and volunteer all state that when I get out for a walk and hang in the play yard I get much better. I am still a bit timid and shy though. I should be in a home with older children. I am a 7 year old Chocolate/White Pit Bull Terrier. I did great in my 'Doggie Eval' at the shelter. So you must bring your dog down for a 'Doggie Intro' .
