This is a courtesy post for a local family looking to rehome two senior dogs, Bruno & Susie, who they took in from a bad situation in which there was severe neglect. Bruno has hip dysplasia and Susie has lipomas (non-cancerous fatty deposit) and fluid build up in her chest for which she's been prescribed Lasix. They're both altered. They're up-to-date on vaccinations and are negative for heartworm. Bruno needs a home without other animals, but Susie gets along well with cats and some dogs. They are both very affectionate with people. They enjoy spending time with their human pack mates, playing with their toys, and being groomed. Cuddling is a favorite pastime. Bruno is nearly 8 years old and Susie is roughly 14 years old. They are both seniors and need a nice place to retire for the rest of their days, which are likely quite limited. While they are bonded, family says they will consider splitting them up if needed but it is highly preferred that they stay together. If you think you can provide Bruno & Susie a retirement home please contact Danielle at [email protected]. They are located in the Columbus area and transport help is available.
