About Leonardo 'Leo'DiCatrio

I rescued this beautiful Tuxedo from 'death row' a few months ago. He took a little time to get comfortable in his new home, but with patience, he slowly started to come out of his shell. He has been a very living kitty, is somewhat ornery and very smart! He LOVES to play and has LOTS of energy. He is very food motivated so could probably be trained quite easily by someone who knows how. I am disabled and I can't quite keep up with him. The reason I am looking for a new home for him is because I have started babysitting my grandkids, ages 4 and 16 mos. Leo is mostly good around them even sleeps with them on occasion, but he has also scratched them and nipped them when he thought they were intruding in his space or playing with 'his' toys. (Actually their toys). He would be best in a home where he gets lits of attention or with another animal that he can play with. No small kids. I have never had any other cats around him, but I did dogsit my sisters dog once and after a short while they were getting along fine. He seemed to muss her when she went back home.
