Hello, my name is Maia! My name means brave warrior! :) I am a 6 month old Bengal and Tabby mix girl! I am so stunning with my unique spotted coat, my vibrant splashes of coloring, and my big amber eyes! I am playful, adventurous, and my purr motor is always at top volume! I love to cuddle on the bed and then I am off to play kitten soccer! I am a special needs kitten because I was born with a liver shunt. That means that my liver doesn't filter out ammonia and I have to take two inexpensive meds and also eat a home cooked diet of low fat protein, including turkey, clams (for taurine), cottage cheese and plain yogurt. I absolutely love this food! On my diet and meds, I am Super Kitten! I am on the search for an adopter who thinks it is no big deal that I have special needs- maybe a nurse or someone who has lots of kitty experience!
