Rocky is a dynamic three-year-old tri-colored Australian Shepherd who weighs in at a healthy seventy pounds. He is extremely intelligent, sensitive, housebroken, loving and crate trained. He enjoys physical activity and will do best with a skilled dog leader. Rocky has experienced multiple starts. Abusive homes taught him to be fearful and reactive. He is seeking security and is very ready to turn a new page with a responsible forever home. He is devoted and wants to connect. Rocky currently resides with three large dogs and a few cats. We believe he can be successful in a similar home environment given proper supervision. Children ten years and older, with dog knowledge, may potentially be a match. It is important for the future guardian to be familiar with the herding breeds. Rocky's hobbies include loading up in the car to run errands, seeking gentle massages with a grooming mitt and helping out in the veggie garden. He has been working enthusiastically along side of his dog-savvy foster mom. Lisa, the foster parent, will share a detailed orientation with potential candidates who submit a completed application. Rocky's adoption donation is $325 ($250 of that amount is tax deductible). Please submit the Second Chance Dogs' adoption application. The form can be found on the website www.secondchancedogs.net
