Hi, I'm Winston but I also go by Winny. I'm told I am a 3 month old beagle mix weighing a whopping 12 pounds! Playing with my foster siblings is my favorite hobby, other than nibbling on anything that catches my eye. I love food and especially my food bowl, I run around with it and you may here me growl at it, however, I'm just goofing off. Still getting the hang of using the bathroom outside nevertheless I will master it soon. I have my doubts about being on a leash, on the other hand when I'm not, I am very curious but I won't go far. I just found out I have tail and let me tell you, I love chasing it!! Sometimes I may get whinny but I just want to be picked up and cuddled, I guess you can call me a little needy lap dog. I have mastered the stairs, yet I still need help getting on the couch and bed. Car rides make me a little nervous but no need to worry, I will knock out within minutes. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
