I am 57 lbs., 2 years old and seeking my for every home! Adoption Donation: $350 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Tri Heart Plus; Vectra 3D. A note from her former owners: 'We adopted Vixen 2 years ago and we are heartbroken to have to re-home her. She has been through 10 days of boot camp as well as one 10 week session of basic obedience. She knows heel, sit, come, down and wait. She is house trained and is let out a minimum of 4 times a day with the longest stretch being overnight when she can be left for about 10 hours or so. She is crate trained but is kept in an 8x8 pen more often than a typical large dog crate. She is an incredibly sweet dog who loves nothing more than a good rear end rub and a snuggle. She does give cute doggy kisses! She is great with larger dogs and we would recommend a home with another large dog as she absolutely loves to play with our 100 lb lab mix. During play she is very gentle and nips at the lab's feet as they chase each other and roll all over the floor. Vixen is fantastic and very patient with kids. Vixen has a lot of energy and is walked every single day. She's also been trained to run on a treadmill (supervised) for up to 20 minutes at a time and she loves it. She walks well on a leash and knows how to heel and does not pull.' All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of the adoption. Our website is always kept 100% up to date with who is currently available. All new animals (40/week) are added to the site 2 weeks before their availability date to give you time to fill out your adoption application and get the family ready to come out to the shelter that day. As soon as animals are adopted, they are moved to the Adopted Pets page so if they are still listed on the Adoptable Dogs or Cats page, they are still available. So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! We would recommend if you haven't done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt.
