About Maia Jett

Maia needs to be re-homed; she is used to being doted on. She would do best in a home with adult women. She has lived before with an adult dog (they just avoided each other) and a cat that was about 3 years younger than she (they would play fight every day but were never loving to each other). She is somewhat dominant and appreciates all the attention. She does not bite but will hiss and run away if frightened. She does not seem to like men very much. She doesn't like loud noises and needs a place in the home she can go to when the vacuum comes on. She loves her kitty tree, her toys, grain-free hard food, pine pellet litter, and she enjoys tiny bits of cheese for a snack. She is in excellent health and is up to date on her shots, and her teeth are in excellent condition. She does need a benedryl shot with her yearly rabies shot. She is a beautiful cat, and likes to sleep against me on the couch for a little while before bed; sometimes she'll sleep there all night on her pillowcase or sometimes she'll sleep on her kitty tree. Maia was originally a rescue and has been with me since she was about a year old, but I am moving overseas and cannot take her. I can't seem to find anyone who wants an adult cat; please help her find a loving home. I will provide 2 bags of her food, 2 bags of her litter, 2 new litter boxes, a new carrier, her kitty tree (which is only a few months old), and all of her toys. She just had her rabies shot in September, so she is not due for another year.
