About Dolly

Beagle mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Dolly Beagle mix Approx. 12 weeks Dolly is a ball of joy, she's a bit of a wiggle worm because she's always trying to play. She's about 10 lbs and will probably stay a small-medium sized dog. She is currently working on potty training and is getting better and better everyday especially when she is consistently let out. She is almost fully crate trained and will sleep through the night with no accidents in her kennel. She lets her foster know when she hears them wake up though with the sweetest little howls. Dolly gets along great with other dogs, but especially with smaller dogs or more laid back large dogs. She loves to adventure outside with her brother and they will play as long as you let them. She will bark at cats, but is respectful of their space and won't chase them. Her current foster lives on a farm so she's met all kinds of animals including chickens, horses, donkeys, and many more and she is very respectful of their space. Dolly loves to snuggle when she's done playing, but on her own time. She recently came up to Illinois so is still getting used to the colder weather. Dolly would do well with an active family that wants a fun dog to adventure with! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
