Second Chance Dogs pulled Max from a shelter in CA the day before he was to be euthanized. He arrived on a transport and is now with his and foster family. Max is settling in nicely; what a difference feeling safe and loved can make. Max is so sweet. Max loves other dogs and did great being around a toddler. He travels good, loves to play and is very smart. He's being trained with a clicker and is doing really well. He does have a small handicap, he is blind, but can see shadows, although you would never know. He does not like to be kenneled. He can't see and he knows he is in a confined enclosure and it's scary for him. This boy is very gentle and loving. He would make a great family dog. His birthday is November 1st and he's turning two. Wouldn't it be great to give him a loving home for his birthday? Max is neutered and up to date on immunizations. He lived with cats at his last home, but we are not sure how much interaction he had with them. We did not have time to test him with a cat. We think he would be fine though. He does need a fenced yard for his safety. His adoption donation is $275. If you are interested in making Max part of your family please fill out our adoption application at www.secondchancedogs.net.
