Your application stays with us for 90 days, so if you miss out on this one.. keep looking, we want you to rescue a dog!! (PS: *We cannot email or call every applicant to tell you that you were not chosen. When the dog is marked 'pending' on our website, it means we have picked someone, but they have not met up yet with the dog. It may or may not work out. Not until they are marked 'adopted', are they actually gone, so please apply.) Cashew is a 6 month old puppy who seems to be a blend of a Cairn Terrier and Poodle. He came from Pinal County and is currently being treated for Kennel Cough right now, and then he will go in to get neutered and chipped. Once he is healed we will adopt him out. �'�� He is one nice boy that does well with dogs that he comes in contact with during a walk and the foster families dog too. Not real sure about cats as he did bark at one that was on the fence, so that may be a problem? He loves to curl up in bed with the fosters, and also has curled up in his crate.. He is doing good going potty outside. Uses the doggy door sometimes. Playful but not real fond of a bath (took 2 to accomplish that). He weighs in at 15 lbs and may fill out a tad bit, but most likely won't get much bigger. �'�� He has fallen in love with everyone he has met, no mean bone in his body... may be a perfect fit for someone with children. MAYBE not tiny toddlers because he is a puppy himself. He is energetic and playful, and may knock them over, and be too rough in a playful way. He has fur like the cairn terrier and the body structure of the poodle. �'�� �'�� Cashew will be current on immunization shots, neutered, Bordetella, rabies shot, and will have a microchip when he goes to his forever home. �'�� Cashews adoption fee is set at $250.00 Most everything we know about our dogs is in the bio..so please read it so you know what the dog is like and if it will fit your lifestyle. Once an application is received, it will go in that dog's file for review.
