My name is BJ and my owner just went into hospice. I am a 6 year old purebred male Siberian Husky with papers. I am housebroken, not food aggressive or dog aggressive. I know basic commands but they have to be reinforced on a daily basis so I can be obedient. I love people and getting attention. I weigh about 60 lbs. I love walks and talking to people. I am not a barker, except if I see a stranger. If other dogs bark a lot when I walk by, I never bark back; I just keep walking. I am shy at first with people I meet but warm up quickly when I get to know them. My friends who are fostering me want to make sure I go to a good home and that I won't just be chained in the backyard. They are not charging AKC fees for me, but will charge a small fee to make sure I go to a family who really wants me. All my shots are current. I'm used to going in and out of the house, but can stay in the backyard for awhile if it is fenced in (especially if you have to go to work) but I want to know that you are coming home to me and will allow me to join your family inside.
