About Bear

Meet Bear! He's a cute Chihuahua Terrier mix who came in to us after his owner passed away. He was sad and confused for awhile but with lots of love he's doing much better now. Bear is 2-3 years old and weighs 14.10 pounds. He is a bit shy when you first meet him and will take some time to warm up to a stranger, but once he does he's a real sweetheart! He was in a car accident about a year and half ago and lost a few toes as a result. He walks and runs fine, but is a little sensitive if you mess with his feet. Bear gets along with other dogs, but he definitely likes his person best. He can be protective of his space when he's sitting on a lap and he would be happy as an only dog where he would get all the attention! He is fine with cats and has not been kid tested. He is a snuggler who likes to sit with his person and sleep under the covers in the big bed at night. Bear is very smart and will sit pretty for treats. He's affectionate and playful. He really enjoys playing with toys and playing fetch. He loves to go for walks and does well on a leash. He is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Bear is a friendly little guy who would love to meet his forever family soon!
