About Cadbury (west)

AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA Hi, my name is CADBURY - ID#A4307675. I am a neutered male, chocolate and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old, and I have been at the shelter since August 30, 2019. When I think of Cadbury, I think of the words: Buddy! Pal! Amigo! Cadbury greets each new person like a long-lost friend. He zoomed right up to everyone we walked by, and wiggled that booty like there was no tomorrow! 'HIIII! It's meeee! Your friend Cadbury!!' Cadbury is a silly guy with a goofy energy- a total goofball! Come to think of it, Cadbury kind of hops around like the Cadbury Bunny! So I guess he's more of a goof-egg?! Oh stop, you know it's funny. If you adopt Cadbury, you'll need to get used to lots of cheesy jokes, because this guy is one funny-bunny! Speaking of jokes... Cadbury's fur had me cracking up. Can you spot that lighter patch on the back? It's kind of like if Cadbury got into the Easter egg dyes and decided to give himself a stripe lol. Cadbury has a fun energy, but he's not crazy hyper. He walks nicely on leash, and although he doesn't seem to know any tricks yet, he's very food motivated and willing to learn! Cadbury was a bit overexcited/reactive during his dog eval. He was adopted for a few days a returned for trying to attack other dogs. He is at risk of euthanasia because the shelter staff believes he is deteriorating because he is not kenneling well. Please consider sweet Cadbury for your next furry family member. He WILL need some patience and understanding to make the transition into a regular home.
