Courtesy Posting: SWEET PRINCESS- SR CHOW NOW AVAIL AT PHOENIX SHELTER- FRIENDLY, NEEDS ADOPTER/FOSTER/RESCUE/PLEDGES TO SAVE HER-MARICOPA WEST - A4330029 PRINCESS - A4330029 Maricopa West Shelter, Phoenix, AZ Sweet, beautiful Princess was found as a stray laying in a median and brought to the Maricopa West shelter in Phoenix missing most of the hair on her tail, with overgrown long, curled nails. The poor senior 46 lb chow girl was also terribly matted, so the shelter fortunately did a courtesy groom on her- and clipped her nails. Her skin scrape was negative and skin appears normal. Despite being estimated to be age 10, she walks well on a leash and in general. We are waiting for them to test her with dogs, and are currently looking for an adopter, foster and/or rescue to save her. PACC911 is offering $250 plus $50 for medical to a rescue partner or friend.
