About Buddah

Hello my name is Buddah. I found myself in a high kill shelter in Houston TX after the flooding there from a really bad storm the end of last year. I had spent several days there and the nice people who took videos said my last day was coming and they were trying to find me help. I was giving up hope and shutting down until a nice lady came and picked me up. She took me to the vet and then took me to a place where other dogs were but it was not a shelter. I was able to get on transport to my rescue in NC on 11/1/19 and I still have not been chosen and looking for a foster home or my forever home. I am a very sweet and loving boy who likes to run and play but I don't know how to really interact with other dogs while on leash. My people said someone probably never taught me and why I am reactive to them now. I was kenneled with another dog at the shelter and was fine. I can learn that dogs are good and they want to play and not hurt me but until then I really need to be an only dog until I learn to trust other dogs again. Since I am not in a home yet and at doggie daycare, my rescue does not know if I am house trained but the people at the shelter place said I had a home before and I do not potty in my room at boarding. I am 1 yr old and my paperwork says I'm a german shepherd mix. I have been fully vetted and on preventatives, current on all of my vaccines and microchipped. I wish I could talk to tell you my story but if you will please share my story to help me find a foster home or a forever home. Love Buddah
