MoMo is a spunky alpha girl who loves to have her own way in her foster home in West Virginia. She gets along well with other dogs and respectful children over the age of 6 years. She is not cat friendly. MoMo does not like to be left alone and will complain a bit when she sees her foster family getting ready to leave to go somewhere. She settles down quite quickly. MoMo sleeps with the other dogs in her foster home. MoMo loves people! A very social girl she will push her face into you and holds you as close as she can and almost purrs with pleasure when petted. MoMo would like a home where she can have a family with a lot of time and love to give her. When MoMo wants attention she will do one loud bark and touch you with her paw and then reward your attention with her gentle loving purring sound. She loves to be tickled, petted and loved all over! MoMo would love a home where she can be the only dog and focus of all the love and attention. MoMo is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. Like all dachshunds she will need to be confident in their environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important. MoMo does have special medical needs. She has epilepsy and takes medication twice a day. She has only had 2 seizures in a year. MoMo also has IVDD and should never be permitted to use stairs or jump off or beds and furniture. MoMo is a loving girl who deserves a home to call her very own.
