About Dasher

Born Jan.2019, 53 lb. Very intelligent, fast learner, high energy. Loves to run and chews a lot when bored, plays fetch and jumps hoop. Has had group and private training. Has learned leash manners, basic obedience like sit, down, heel, shake hands, No! Out! No more! Quiet! Still working on- stay, come, leave it, drop it, whistle recall and prey-guarding. Friendly toward people and other dogs. At 9 months, he is emerging from puppyhood (You know how much work it is raising a puppy!), and entering his prime of life into adulthood. Unfortunately, we realize our dinky yard is too small for him and our energy level cannot match his demand for activities. So 2 minimum requirements for the adopter are: He needs (1) a lot of exercise and a big open space to run in, and (2) loving humans yet strong handler(s). He should make a great companion with another dog and a great jogging/hiking partner. Being sled dog in snow country is also in his nature. But he is no cuddly lap dog or playmate for kids unsupervised. He is socialized, confident and has a happy disposition.
