About Percy

Percy is a handsome 1.5 year old Yorkshire Terrier mix looking for a forever home that understands him. He weighs just over 12 pounds and is full grown. Percy needs people that will understand that he needs time to warm up to new people and will also need time to adjust in a new environment. He has done well with men and women but needs a home with no one under the age of 18. Percy is a resource guarder and does not like to share his prized possessions. He has never lived with any other animals and would still do best as the only dog in the home. Percy is house broken, kennel trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car (if seat belted). He would do best in a home where his people are home more often than not and don't have too many visitors. Percy is still an active boy but busy and loud environments make him uncomfortable. He would especially love a home where he could have his own toys kept to himself, every once in a while he will shove them up against our leg when he is willing to share so you will play with him! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $260 and includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance.
