About LUNA

Adoption Fee: $300
Corgi mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Heeeere's Luna!!! A huge benefit of adopting a dog from Pathways is that our dogs are in foster homes, real family settings just like yours. This helps us understand what the dog likes, needs, doesn't want, and helps us (and you) know if the dog is a good fit for your setting. Here's what Luna's foster says about her %81S Luna loves other dogs and has a blast playing with them, even the real tiny ones '| she'd do well with an active playful dog in the home for playing chase and also keep-away with the ball. She'll even share mama with the other dog, nicely going on walks together, and peacefully following mama around the house, willing to share her human. She's very energetic so again, the playful dog is most ideal, but may do all right with a more calm dog as well because she's a real sweetheart lounger also. She does show a little anxiety when her humans leave so another dog in the home will be helpful for this - but still, she prefers a home where there is a human around more often than not. She's a wonderful companion and also happy to sleep with them at night. Luna loves kids. She's very sweet and likes to watch TV with her people, play fetch, and will wake the kids up in the morning. No complaints from them because Luna is just tooo sweet! She's doing mom a favor! According to the kids, Luna also likes to play hide and seek with them. She gets very excited with new people and desperately wants to be loved. When she's too excited, she sometimes tries to nibble the kids shoes or clothes, shake pillow around, or run like she's sneaky with socks in her mouth. She's really just funny-naughty and just to be silly and get your attention - nothing destructive or aggressive. She is a love bug! For training, she does respond to a firm NO if there's something you don't want her to do. Her new owners will just want to set boundaries while remaining playful. She LOVES her playtime in the backyard (must have a yard with grassy play area). She enjoys walks on cool mornings and is housebroken. She does not know commands like sit, down, and stay, but she does know how to do all those things without being told %81S Any children in Luna's home must be of responsible age - - 8-9 minimum is best. While she loves her people and is glued to them, she also looks for openings all the time. If a door or gate is not closed properly or fast enough, she will be out. Baby gates to section her off from the front door or garage entrance while in use are helpful, and foster mama actually crates her when the doorbell rings'| just to be safe. We would like Luna's new family to be just as cautious as her foster family because this little girl does not deserve to be lost, or accidentally get out and injured by a car, etc. Luna is right around 20 pounds, short, and full grown. Daily brushing of her coat would be a treat for you and for her. She is 2 years old and is a Corgi mix. Luna is spayed, vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $300.00. She lost her home. But she's hoping to find her new one right away. May you be the lucky one! Meet LUNA on SUNDAY at PetSmart, 10030 N 90th Street in Scottsdale. You may request an adoption application in advance via email.
