Hi, my name is LISSA - ID#A4315064. I am a spayed female, red and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 61 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Sep 12, 2019. Lissa is a shy 6 year old who just recovered from a cold. She is timid and shy, but cute. She did ok in her doggy evaluation; she was tolerant of other dogs, but kept to herself. She will need a quiet patient loving home willing to give her time to come out of her shell. Lissa likes hot dogs a lot, so bring some with you if you go see her. She will take treats from you if you sit down and wait. The person who found Lissa said she seemed to prefer women over men, though that has yet to be proven. Please consider giving this sweet girl a chance at life.
