Leo was found wondering the street and brought to the shelter. The shelter contacted his owner in hopes reuniting the family. But instead, Leo was surrendered. Just like that, Leo is homeless, again. He's no stranger to the shelter. He had been in the shelter in 2012. Although his owner was supposed to come for him, but was a no show. Leo has absolutely zero reason to have any faith in humanity after having been abandoned and discarded like garbage. But Leo isn't about the past or about holding grudges. He's all about here and now, and he wants to go on. Leo was unable to use his hind legs at the time of impound. Xrays shows there are no fractures or broken bones. He's gotten stronger and is able to walk on his own, though he's still wobbly. He doesn't see himself as being 'different' and he wishes that we don't define him based on his ability. But you must see what an amazing boy he is. He is just incredibly sweet, happy and he never stops wagging his tail! He wants to connect and engage, and he loves affection. He's such a good natured boy and his happiness is contagious and he brings a smile to everyone who meets him��%BD��%BD��%BD%8D He did well meeting a female dog with slow introduction.
