Welcome to Native Nation's ACTS Animals Called to Service program! We provide a unique program for both potential rescue pet adopters and US Veterans that are in need of service animals. For every three rescue pet adoptions, we are able to provide a veteran with a trained service animal. Our program is divided into two divisions the Service Animals for Veteran program, and the Rescue Pet Adoption program. Some of the rescue animals surrendered to us go into our Service Animal Training program and some are available for adoption for pet or emotional support animal homes. The donations for all of our rescue pet adoptions is $2,500. The proceeds from all donations go into our Service Animals for Veterans program fund. Please visit our website at www.animalscalledtoservice.org to learn more. Sweet Archie was surrendered to ACTS Animals Called to Service and is currently available from the rescue pet adoption division. Archie would be an excellent Emotional Support Animal. He is currently 7lbs, and he will be 12-14lbs at maturity. The original family that surrendered him understood that they would be supporting the ACTS Service Animals for Veterans program. They surrendered him because the wife had a stroke, and needed special care afterward. The family didn't have the time to handle life events and their new puppy. This precious little one is now in our rescue pet adoption program and is ready for a loving home. All of the animals in the ACTS rescue pet adoption program are started on crate and house training. They have been socialized with children and other animals. They've received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, as well as have been started on Interceptor Heartworm medication and flea and tick preventative. We feed Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream, rest assured they've been on a high-quality diet since they've been in the ACTS program. They typically all enjoy squeaky toys, chews, stuffed toys, soft beds, and lots of cuddles. They will come with their Health Certificates, Health Records, Microchipped, and 30 days of Pet Health Insurance. ACTS rescue pet adoption program has foster homes nationwide, and this pet is currently fostered in Linn County, Oregon. You are welcome to schedule a meet and greet, pick up your newly adopted rescue pet, or we can arrange for an air or ground delivery. The Adoption process starts online, you can fill out the Adoption Application at http://www.animalscalledtoservice.org and after submission please watch your inbox for directions to proceed in the adoption process. Please call the adoption coordinator listed below if you have questions anytime throughout the process. We hope that if we have the right rescue pet for your that you will take comfort in that 100% of the proceeds of the donations will go to benefit the ACTS Service Animals for Veterans program in order to help us positively impact the lives of US Veterans.
