About Beautiful Wren

PLEASE CALL 520-800-4633 ASAP, I don't have much time! #A4191503 'Wren' Intake 10/2 *Needs Only Dog Home* Found @ Guadalupe & Rural, TEMPE Nextdoor Zip Code: 85283 Wren is SO PRETTY, but she needs our help to leave the Shelter safely. Her time is limited as she is already At Risk & has notes she will be added to the Euthanasia List for not passing her dog introductions as part of her evaluation :( Wren came in as as a Stray out of Tempe, & could really use her Owners to come for her when she needs them the most, so Please Share her in hopes they see her! She listed as a 7 year old Pittie Mix, already spayed & microchipped & about 70lbs (no response to multiple ways of contact using her chip information). She waited so patiently for me to make my way to her kennel & seemed very appreciative to have some yummy snacks & attention, even showing off her shaking skills! Wren was observed to be increasingly aroused at the sight of an energetic dog a few yards away so her first evaluation was not completed. At her next attempt on leash, she rushed to greet a social female dog but when the dogs met face-to-face Wren immediately escalated & lunged, biting the other dog's neck & then attempting to bite again. She is currently listed as not safe with other dogs and 'will be added to the Euthanasia List' :( It would be amazing if a Rescue could help Wren & get her the training she needs to begin socialization with other dogs, but we do suggest anyone available to provide her an only dog home contact the Shelter directly as those decisions are often made on a case by case basis.
