About Pablo Pigeon

Adoption Fee: $75
Russian Blue / Maine Coon
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Pablo Pigeon is a handsome blue gray medium hair male approx. 2yr. His adoption fee is $75. He has been vetted, neutered and he goes in for a complete dental Nov 17. He is great with everybody and everything! Nice cats, nice dogs and nice kids. Pablo was rescued as a kitten from the street and now his family must downsize, adopting out the best. SHE DIDN'T TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND DUMP HER BELOVED FAMILY MEMBERS AT THE KILL SHELTER. SHE MADE THE EFFORT AND GOT HELP! IT'S A LIFE! Pablo is super sweet, playful and full of personality after his adjustment period. He loves to be pet, scratched and given a full body massage. He is super intelligent and will come when you call him. While he's not a 'lap cat' he does loves to hang out and be where his people are. He will seek out your attention and affection. He has a kitty friend he likes to play with at his rescue/foster home. She's young and they chase each other around the house and wrestle, so he really does need a playmate. He is a lover not a fighter and some of the other more aggressive cats in the foster home are picking on him. It's the older cats that don't like him. Maybe they are jealous :) He has been free fed quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat) and gets canned food morning and night. He loves interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys. He loves kitty treats and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. He will expect to share your bed. Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cats fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Oscar Smuff FOR LIFE!
