About Jonah

Jonah is a standard poodle who was selected from a breeder as a family dog for my daughter for her sixth birthday. He is 4 years old and extremely good with children having been a family dog in a house where the current ages are 2 5 and 10 years old. Jonah has Hypoadrenocorticism otherwise known as Addison's disease. he was diagnosed with this condition when he was 2 years old. Dogs with Addison's are capable of leading normal healthy lives provided they take medicine to maintain the necessary hormone levels. he takes a pill with food once a day and an injection once every 25 days. The reason he needs a new home is that having lost my income recently I can no-longer afford the medicine for him. He is up to date on all vaccines and care and would be sent with any remaining medication along with all his favorite toys, dog bed, etc... Jonah is a Purebred, Papered, Standard Poodle. I paid $1200.00 for him. I am only asking for a minimal adoption fee because his adoption to the right home ASAP is very important to me. However it is important to me that I can see that his new forever home is with someone who is both willing to lovingly care for him and able to provide for his medication needs (which cost approximately $200 every two months)
