About Cocoa

Cocoa is a beautiful 3-year-old chocolate and white Cocker boy who has suffered at the hands of a vile owner who thought abuse was a form of training- the burns on his back are the ultimate evidence of his former owners' ignorance. As a result, Cocoa is a confused little boy who will only trust you after he has spent time with you and knows he is safe. Cocoa does not make a good first impression - he is at first aggressive towards those he does not know. He will need a seasoned Cocker Spaniel owner who will work with him and get him to forget the abuse he endured in his past and teach him to trust again. His cherry eye surgery and neuter will be done soon so he will be ready to go within 2 weeks.
