HANDSOME SENIOR PITTIE ON EUTHANASIA LIST Hi, my name is BONES - ID#A4323318. I am a male, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Oct 05, 2019. Bones is a handsome senior who was an owner surrender at 9 yrs old with a mass on his nether region. The owner said he was an outside dog, doesn't do well with cats and likes people. He passed his eval and coexisted with another calm dog and was made adoptable. However, the shelter can't do the diagnostics and treatment he needs for this mass. It is a bit unsightly so I have included a photo available upon request. Bones walks well on leash, has some extra bendy ankles and knows sit. He was friendly with me in the yard, took snacks like a gentleman and enjoyed his booty scratches.
