About Hank

Hank is amazing with woman and well behaved children. He does have a harder time warming up to men and rambunctious young children stress him out and cause him to lick his paws bloody. Hank weighs 200 lbs but is truly a gentle giant to the women and children in his life. He is currently fostered with dogs of all sizes and both males and females and does wonderful with all of them. He is housebroken, never destructive and a true gentleman in the house. He truly just wants to be with his person and would make an amazing companion. He does have a playful side and gets his bursts of energy in the morning and whenever I first get home. He is only available for adoption in the San Diego County area. His ideal home would be with a single lady that works from home. However, he did love the husband in his previous home and does well with my older son so if a patient, gentle man is part of the household it could work.
