Extremely urgent!! Foster and adopter needed to save this sweet boy. Volunteers describe him as follows:'10/2 Officer Bradford Update!! Officer Bradford has been with us for about a month and that's way too long for a puppy! He is a playgroup regular; he inspects his colleagues (sniffs) and loves to play. He's the happiest puppy and his charm is contagious. He's super cute, often out in PG for hours and hasn't shown signs of a rear leg injury but as with any shelter pup, a medical consultation is always recommended. Our best news is we've made progress with his leash fixation. Officer B isn't too thrilled with water and we used water to curb that focus. We've made progress%BD'%BD| check out his 10/2 video, no more leash tugging. This boy is ready for a family to love, Officer B is knocking on your door! Let this awesome boy in! Officer Bradford reporting for duty! He's here to police your leash 24/7. You don't walk him, he walks you. He's just a puppy but has a life time of personality and sass in his tiny body. Straight out of the kennel all the way to the play lot he tugged hard on the leash. Good thing he's cute. He came into the shelter with an injured back leg and will require further medical treatment to see how bad it or if it will require surgery. Officer Bradford will also require some training, he scored close to zero on the manners & listening skills. He's a do what I want when I want guy. OB only listened when he thought there were treats involved and jumped repeatedly to get them. Other times he threw his body at my just because. I think I've seen why his back leg is the way it is, self induced injury. He's pretty mouthy with hands and toys too. He loves to play and chase but only for blimps at a time. Then he was back to doing his own thing usually with his nose to the ground. Officer B allowed handling all over including being picked up. It by no means quieted his mind and he was super squirmy still. He's a puppy that's never had anyone care enough about him to instill structure. That's about to change though!' Please consider saving this cutie pie. The shelter is full and dogs are being killed. Please help him to get out alive. Fostering is free of charge and everything is provided within a 90 mile radius of Chicago. Volunteers are willing to help with transport.
