About Smokey

I am a returned adoption, because I didn't know that I shouldn't play with my new human brother like I play with my dog friends and I used my teeth to tell him I wanted to keep the stuffed bunny that he was reaching for. I didn't want to hurt him I just wanted the toy. But because I did that the people here at Animal Control say I can not go to a home that has children under the age of 10. I resource guard which means I need to be taught that I can have the toy or food when people say it is ok not when I want it or want to keep it. I know I can learn to be a good boy if you are willing to train me. I already understand about invisible fencing and I know not to cross the line and stay in my own yard. I also know what people mean when they say 'sit, lay down, off, with me, here and come.' If we are playing ball, I know what drop it means even if I don't always do it. I am pretty sure I know some other word, but I cannot think of them right now. I lived with a silly looking 3-legged dog that I miss playing with. He was a lot smaller than me, but we were pals. I also had a cat at home that I loved to chase but she didn't like to play that game with me.
