Reba is guessed to be a 6-year-old English Coonhound (AKA Redtick Coonhound) weighing 55#. The pictures do not do her sweet personality justice. To meet her is to fall in love! She will literally give everyone she meets hugs and kisses. Not only is Reba a 100% sweetheart, she is great with dogs and kids. She has not been tested with cats, but she would likely not do well due to her high prey drive. Reba loves going for walks. She walks well on a leash. Reba is crate trained but she is noisy in her crate. She is not for an apartment dweller. Reba came from a rural shelter in North Carolina. All the dogs that were not adopted that day were euthanized. Since Reba had so many medical issues, she didn't stand a chance without rescue. Reba had stillborn puppies before she was dumped at the shelter. We rescued her with skin infections, an eye infection, and a horrendous ear infection. She was also anemic and malnourished. To top it all off, Reba is heartworm positive. Her last treatment is on November 5th which is when she will be available for adoption.
