About Darius

This is Darius! Darius is 10-12 weeks old and weights about 12-14 pounds. Darius and his siblings were surrendered to a high kill shelter in NC because their owner's dog had puppies and they didn't want them. When FHDR heard about the puppies, we transported them to our rescue in NJ where they are all living in foster homes while they wait for their furever homes! This is what Darius's foster mom says about him�'�|.'Darius loves people! When you meet him, he will go right up to you with his tail wagging! He has lots of puppy energy! Play, play play�'�|...running around the yard, chasing his brother Darren, playing with toys, chewing on his rope toys. Yet, one of his favorite things to do is cuddle! Darius likes to please and he is doing great with house training and he is learning to walk on the leash and he is good in the car. He already knows the commands 'sit', 'paw' and 'no'.
