URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR SWEET PUP ABOUT TO HEAD BACK TO NY KILL SHELTER. A BUCKS COUNTY RESCUE WILL STEP UP AND PROVIDE ALL ESSENTIALS, IF YOU PROVIDE THE LOVE. FOLLOWING IS THE CURRENT PLEA: I am seeking a new rescue to take over my foster dog. She was pulled in Nov 2018. I am her 3rd foster and have had her for 8 months in the Suburban Philadelphia area/Valley Forge. Current rescue is offering a generous donation to a new rescue to take over or pay a new foster that can get ADELA through paid-for & pre-approved trainer for 6 months. If reasonably local to King of Prussia, I can co-foster/30%/walk etc. 6 Year old Female Spayed, 70lbs (a little overweight) Dog friendly, does well in dog daycare for the last 4 months and did well at NYACC shelter with dogs Cats unknown but probably no Walks great on the leash Rides well in the car, hops right in Loves hikes in Valley Forge Park Very chill in the home Does not bark Allows all handling, even when moving her food bowl No resource guarding, excl her PB kong when she is in the zone for going to sleep for the night Does not care about fireworks or thunderstorms, snores right through this Crate Trained Loves to snuggle and take naps Things that need addressed in training: 'Stranger Danger' in the home or enclosed space. Can get protective of her person. Needs very slow intros to people. Prev foster stated that she would fall asleep in the same room with another person in the room; No kids She was over-bred and dribbles. Controlled with Proin, yet still dribbles. Will wear a dog diaper with more training. Currently can get it on but she wiggles it off. Current on vaccs and fully-vetted. HW neg and on HW preventative.
