Update 9/26/19: Sadly Garfield has been returned after living in a home for 1 1/2 years. They told us he was not using his litter box. We asked if anything had changed recently in the home as sometimes stress brings that on. We found out that 2 new kittens were added to the home recently. When he did actually return to our facility we were saddened to see the shape he was in. He had horrible fleas (live fleas and larva), scabs, multiple areas of hair loss, and ear mites. He was also not kept up to date on his vaccines. After about 2 weeks in our holding area, flea treatments and ear treatments, he is back on our adoption floor. He uses the littler box just fine. He is a little over 2 years old now. He is nervous here but sweet. We are hoping his new home will take care of him the way he deserves to be and love him forever. Please consider giving Garfield his second chance.
