About Elita/Lita

Lita will be 2 in November. She is a trained service dog. She is great with kids and adults. She loves to play fetch. She will grab your keys and bring them to you. She has an huge sock fetish... so hide those socks and your feet cause she will try to take your socks right off your feet. She has a lot of energy. She is a little leary about men especially men that wear hats. She gets along great with other dogs but she needs to be in a home with only one dog or feed them separately including giving treats like bones. She attacked my shitzhu over a bone and she had to get 8 emergency stitches. We love lita so much but after this incident we think finding her a home with only one dog will be a better fit for her. We got her in april 2019 from a lady who was going to be homeless. When we brought her home she was extremely skittish and wouldn't go near anyone. She is now very open and loves almost everyone she meets. You can walk her and she will stay right beside you, if she gets out of the yard she won't leave the yard. She digs through the garbage so we had to put ours in the pantry, she also will jump on the side of the counters to drag stuff off. And she is just like the birds on finding Nemo 'mine' is her theme. We have a 15 wk old shitzhu/ maltose puppy that we have to watch lita like a hawk cause she will grab her by the sweater and fling her around like a rag doll and run around the backyard with her like she is a chew toy.
