About Chewy

Meet Chewy! This little 2 year old male is a shih tzu mix! He also has a longer body similar to a dachshund but big paws of a large breed! He weighs about 14 lbs and is a spunky little character! Chewy would do best in a home with a large yard to run around in with a fellow friendly dog who loves to play and eager to go for rides! He adores other dogs and can be high energy. Chewy is OK with some cats, but does like to chase them when he is bored and not stimulated enough. He is working on manners and his current food and toy aggression; due to this, we are currently looking for a forever home for him without children in the home or where children visit often. Chewy can get a bit mouthy when he plays. We would like to see him in an experienced home. Chewy is currently up to date on his vaccinations and will be fully vetted soon. He goes potty outside but has some issues with marking that will only improve with consistency and patience. Chewy does not like crates and should not be crated. Since Chewy has hair, please keep in mind that he will require regular grooming. We will gladly recommend one for you, if you do not already have one in mind!
