About Delayna & Maria

URGENT HOME NEEDED FOR TWO SWEET LABS WHO ARE LOOSING THE ONLY HOME THEY HAVE EVER KNOWN. IF A HOME ISN'T FOUND SOON, THEY WILL END UP IN A HIGH KILL SHELTER WHERE THE ODDS ARE AGAINST THEM LIVING MORE THAN A WEEK. THEIR MOM SHARES THE FOLLOWING: I find myself in need of re-homing my 2 female, 9 year old labs, Maria and Da'Layna. The reason I MUST re-home them is that I am no longer physically healthy enough to properly care for them. I have had 1 hip replaced and need the other one done as well as back surgery with no guarantee of better mobility but hopefully less pain. They have NEVER been separated and MUST stay together. They are indoor dogs but love to run in the fenced yard a few times daily. (I am careful to watch the temperature and humidity as to how long and what times they get yard time. The Girls are spayed, tattooed, up to date on vaccines and on prescription heartworm medication. I have enough medication to get them through their August 1, 2020 dose. I will send their food, snacks, beds, bowls, leashes, brush, nail clippers, and anything else dog related. The Girls live with 3 cats and are good with kids but Da'Layna is a little more frisky than Maria and may jump. The commands they know are sit, stay, eat, go, go into the living room, off, lay down, bedroom, bedtime, go to bed, excuse please, and move please. They do need leash training reinforcement. Hand signals go with the go, stay and lay down commands. Maria was born with a hip issue but it has not stopped her at all. Now that she is a bit older, she seems to have a touch of arthritis occasionally. My vet said to give her 1 aspirin when she continues to limp after getting up and moving about. She said if it lasts more than 2 days, she will prescribe other medication. I will provide this years Vet records, and helpful hint for telling them apart and their individual attributes and attitudes. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP MY SWEET GIRLS FIND A GREAT HOME TO SPEND THEIR SENIOR YEARS. THESE PUPS ARE LOCATED IN SC. THEIR ADOPTION FEE IS $300 FOR THE PAIR.
