About Willow

Hi there! My name is Willow. I'm a very sweet blue/tan female 'Havapoo' (Havanese/Poodle mix). I will be 3 years old on Halloween and I weigh 7 lbs. I have the prettiest green eyes. I've been told that I have a wonderful disposition. I came to Puppy Pals Rescue when they were contacted by a breeder who was retiring a few dogs due to personal circumstances. I am one lucky girl. I have had two litters of puppies in my young life. That is behind me now. I'm looking to be spoiled and treated like the princess that I am. Since my arrival, I have been spayed, eye surgery, shots updated, heartworm tested and micro-chipped. I had eye surgery because I had what you call a 'Cherry Eye' which is a red cyst on the eye lid. It was repaired and I'm looking breathtaking these days. I'm currently recovering from surgery and taking it easy so I heal. I get a pain pill and some drops for my eye to help heal. My prior owner said that I get along with children if not too little/young. We don't know about cats because there are none in my foster home. We would find out at our home visit if you have one. I do eat and sleep in my crate. I walk well on a leash. My riding in the car is okay... I do whine a little. Still working on house-training. I am a dog that might fit into any situation. I would be a good family dog or would be fine with a single owner. A fenced yard is required. Of course, it would be nice to have someone home all day that could monitor my pottying. I'm not quite housebroken. I have gone on a pee pad, but I have had a few accidents. I'm a smart girl and hopefully with some one-on-one training I will become perfect. I have been around other dogs my own size. I am not sure how I would do with larger dogs. They would have to be gentle type dogs.
