About Daisy Mae

Sweet dog, walks well on a leash, completely house trained, very quiet (she's only barked once in the 2 months she's been with us), likes to ride in the car, 60 pounds. She has a beautiful coat that is beginning to fill out now that she's healthy again. She is uncomfortable around other dogs, but that may change as she recovers her trust in people. She ignores cats. I don't know about children, but since she is nervous around loud noises, young children would not be a good fit. She had a litter of puppies (now all adopted), was found in the woods and taken to a shelter. She was heart worm positive, so we've had her through treatment. We'd keep her if we hadn't already planned a 3 month trip to visit family in Europe.
