I posted this sweet girl earlier this week, but after a recent trip to the vet, I learned she is feline leukemia (FeLV) positive which is highly contagious to other kitties - dogs, humans and other animals cannot get FeLV. Unfortunately, this means I cannot keep her around my other cats because even though they are vaccinated against FeLV, they can still get it. But that doesn't mean she can't go to a wonderful home that will show her all the love she deserves. She would need to be in an indoor only cat home or in a home with other FeLV positive kitties. She is about 6 weeks old and absolutely adorable. She purrs non-stop, eats wet and dry kitten food and uses her cat box religiously. She has been wormed, on flea preventative and is currently on antibiotics to treat an upper respiratory infection - which she has almost kicked. Just to add, she may be FeLV positive, but that doesn't mean she's going to exhibit any kind of illness. FeLV positive kitties can live long healthy lives, so don't let the fact she's got this make you discredit her if you're looking to add a new family member. She would just need to be the only cat. Please reply if you think you're her hero and can give this sweet baby a loving home. I don't want to make the horrible decision to put her down if I can't find her a home.
