About Astraea

Astraea is a 2-year0old Amish puppy-mill survivor. The miller decided to dump her because she didn't produce big enough litters to make him enough money. One of our volunteers drove 5 hours to pick her up and bring her back to safety. She is as sweet as she can be. Astraea is learning socialization skills, basic manners, and to trust humans. She is crate-trained, doing very well with house training, and gets along with other dogs. . The name Astraea means Goddess of the Stars.
